      I Remember Dahlonega; Memories of Growing up in Lumpkin County was originally published in 1990 by Legacy Communications, Inc.  It was reprinted in 1993 by Chestatee Publications with a foreword by Atlanta columnist Celestine Sibley and again in 1998.   Chapter 1, “Gold Fever,” features interview articles with three of the last of the old time gold miners.  Other chapters include the Cherokees, the Civil War, Religion and Churches, Education,  Early Roads and Transportation, Healers and Remedies, Living off the Land,
